So, what's known about the Westone we1000..? There's one on ebay:

Guy starts by saying it's from the 'golden age' of Jap guitar production. Goes onto say he now knows the model and year (1997). Here's an archived link:

Anyone know anything about them, other than the info in the archive link? Are they Jap? Who made them? Where?

Ive got a WE1052 and I know Damian has/had a couple. Nice guitars seem to go for very little money considering what they are and made of. Heres a link to a review.
