Which is too clever by half. I can't decide which sex would be single coil, and which would be humbucker.

except I guess a girl has 2 Xs, and a guy has an X and a Y chromosome, so maybe a humbucker would be female?

Not that it was up to me or anything, but I am quite grateful to have been born heterogametic. You see when I was around 4 my mom shared with me what my name would have been had my dear old dad neglecting to put the stem on the apple (if you follow me) and it would not have been pretty.

And don't ask 'cause I ain't 'fessing up no matter the torture you boys might devise...

I'll say that Humbuckers are male. Since they're bigger and more powerful. Single coils are more exacting and graceful.
