The Sarge told me that you were sh!tting again, so I thought best not to disturb you.
I told Sarge on his birthday to soil himself and he thought that I had typed spoil yourself!! He often gets things mixed up - I think he might be English, or something.

Re: Shifting again...
OK, gang; I have new digs and a new workshop...
I've pinched the kids old desk to become an electronics workspace, and I need to mount the grinder and the drill press on pedestals but essentially I'm there!
Working on the old PA amp at present, as well as the reverb tank from my old valve amp and putting the finishing touches to the case I built in a hurry for the Urchin prior to the shift...
... I've got enough to be going on with!

Re: Shifting again...
Thanks fellas! Yeah, these were available in 1983 only and in red which in this case has morphed into a rather attractive metallic pink; I think it's wonderful!!
I know, I know..... it's just a Spectrum in a pretty frock but the shape does it for me in big lumps, and combine that with TPs' genius H/S/H set up and we have a winner!
It has the usual bruises and dings on the points, as well as over the rest of he body, but it's 30 years old and has been used, so I'm not bothered! The neck is in wonderful shape with barely any fret wear and the rosewood board in lovely nick though its sucking up Lizardspit like a good 'un!!
Pickups are 45s, and I've had to resolder the leads where they had been cut; I didn't realise until now that the bridge pickup is a 4 wire pup, and the neck a three! You live and learn, eh!
I used to poison possums as a young fella and we used cyanide paste; we had to advertise the fact that we had poison lines out so the general public wouldn't go round licking it off the posts! Though if they had, death would have been very quick indeed; the possums usually got about 2 steps in before they tipped over!
Steve, I think she likes it.... she didn't make retching noises when she saw it.... that's a good sign, right!?

Is one the earth/common? should be.
Re: Shifting again...
Yep; unsheilded earth/common, and a white and a red in the neck, with a green added in the bridge.

Re: Shifting again...
If I remember correctly, four wire MMK's are for both phase reverse and coil cut switching. The three wire MMK's can't be phase reversed, just coil cut.
You only need to reverse the signal in one of the pickups on a guitar and the effect can only be heard in the middle position, both pickups on together.
DAN.

Re: Shifting again...
That's right as in a Thunder II with PEQ.
In fact you'll have 5 wires if you include the shield/earth.
