Not in the worst shape I've seen and not the original control knobs but they come up for sale so rarely.

You back in the market Pat??

By coincidence, there's a rather tasty-looking X390PW just been listed on eBay (UK) - starting price £400...

I got the US one.
The one with the damaged neck may go on sale soon. I haven't decided.

I totoally missed this one. Although I do not want another with the BMD - just not a big fan of them. One of these days..

Yep, that's why I did it despite my agreement w/ sarcaster about not liking the bend master deluxe.

Still no bids on the white one...and looks minty. Might be a bargain for someone in the UK.

I can't really justify it, BUT if it doesn't sell in the meantime, I'm planning on nipping over to the shop on Friday to have a look at it 'in the flesh', so I'll report back later... Wink

Got the X-390CB yesterday.

Loving it!

One thing confuses me.
It has a Floyd Rose trem instead of the Kahler.

Do we have any record of that being an option?
Is it possible someone routed the Kahler trem cavity into a Floyd Rose cavity?

And the trem is a licensed Floyd Rose rather than a Bendmaster. I think I prefer that, but if it originally had a Bendmaster DLX, I might want to return it to spec.

Thoughts?

Never heard of a Floyd Rose being an option. I'm quite sure you'd see it if there was a Kahler before, however. My guess would be that the previous owner replaced the Bendmaster (quite tricky according to colt).

Someone got a bargain...The white x390 went for 410 GBP (475 EUR/625 USD).

x-390cb on the 'bay... Empty I'm catching on now

Post by Brainfertilizer Fri Feb 22, 2013 1:25 pm

I went back and looked more closely at the guitar page.

There is a notation that some of the Pearl White X390s had Bendmaster Deluxes. There is no such notation for the Caspian Blue.

That should probably be added now.

Yep, it went before I had a chance to go & have a look at it - which is a blessing really, because even at that price I shouldn't have even been thinking of buying it... Laughing

Yes, I have one. I've seen pictures of 3-4 others, including one somewhere in Benelux and I believe the rest in USA.
