NAD;- Vox Pathfinder 15R
Listened to all the happy talk about these, and always held back a bit, as I wasn't sure.
Figured that I would only get one if it was a good price, and was safe in the knowledge that the cabinet, chassis and speaker would serve as a base for a tube amp build if it sounded awful.
Well I chanced upon a B Stock one at a good price, and it arrived just before a rehearsal.
So I played it with this rig, virtually out of the box.
In a word, WOW!!! How could a solid state amp with an 8" speaker give this full a tone against a drummer, bassist, vocals and two horns?
Well, it did.
Blown away by this little amp, I can tell you.
Sounds good with my Westones too.

Re: NAD;- Vox Pathfinder 15R
The VOX's are outstanding amps, in virtually all configurations from solid state to hybrid to all tube. At the shop, we carry a lot of different models along side the big Marshalls and they don't take a back seat to any of them.
I use a tiny 5 watt VOX DA5 "practice" amp in my music room and it's so good I had enough confidence in it to use it in a live performance with another guitar and bass! Great score.

I used a DA 5 live once. I couldn't lift heavy stuff at the time so I did a gig with a Gibson Melody Maker and a DA5 lined out into the PA.
Did really well, under the circumstances.
