Red Westone Thunder I Empty Red Westone Thunder I

Hi, I've got a red westone Thunder I guitar that is faulty that I'm thinking of selling on Ebay. Does anyone know if it's better to fix before selling or just sell as faulty? I think it's a wiring problem with a loose connection somewhere.

If it was me I would fix it up first, then realise it's so good I don't want to sell it. But if it has to go, if someone wants a Westone they will do a lot do get hold of it and not really be too fussed about minor repairs. If it's a question of hard to find spares, like the brass knobs on Thunders, that's a different kettle of fish. Though, to be honest, they are to be played not looked at so a lack of originality won't matter too much to someone who wants to make a great sound with a working pro instrument that feels, and in many cases is better contstructed, better than some USA counterparts.
