Garrison Acoustics.. Has anyone had or tried one...

I'm after a small Parlour body style acoustic guitar an have seen a few advertised quite cheap..
Was hoping a few people might tell me if there any good or to stay way from them...
I remember that some had carbon fibre frames around the sound boards an for bracing..
Any comments for an against an even altenatives will be welcomed....

Never tried Garrison but have played loads of these.

Also if you keep a look out on ebay for a 70's Yamaha FG 75 either Japan or Taiwan made they're excellent little guits.

The vintage range are really nice, Tried one of Midhills the other day an was very impressed with it...
I've not forgiven myself for missing out on a very nice black Recording king palour Guitar..
Didn't the £200:00 notes at time an when i did it was long gone..
Amazing the difference a day makes lol...

Found out that the Guitar is a AGP-200 parlour guitar..
Think there made in China and are from after Gibson took them over in 2007...
Can't find much about Garrison at all on Internet bar they were made in Canada with injection molding process an wood.. Then Gibson took them over an that's all I Know....

never seen nor heard of Garrison, but there's a beautiful one on gumtree in hexam right now, a lovely finish indeed!

Tried a parlour OOsize one and it sounded great...
Sprouce top with rosewood sides an back...
Fit and finish was faultless, though was strung with lighter gauge martin custom 11 gauge strings instead of 12 gauge...
Sounded really sweet an warm even if the bass was slightly shyish..

The one at Hexam is a D45 style one i think...
Though at the price it's very very tempting as only £10:00 more than the other one...
