That's in pretty good condition and looks complete, with a case..... but.... Still seems a little expensive.....

However, they don't show up for sale very often and Warrn likes his lots, so maybe you should try and get the price down a little but be prepared to pay the asking price if you want it badly enough?!

Looks like a good player. I can hear the cats oohing and aahing in approval. Smile Strap pegs have been replaced for some reason. Price is a little high, see if you talk him down.

Looks like a nice on and it has a hard case also which is a huge plus. The price is a bit high but depends on what you value a hard case for the rail at. I have never seen a hard case for a rail and when I purchased mine it came with the original westone silver gig bag. Would be worth it to take a chance and see if they are willing to accept a lower price but thats your call. I paid $475 US for mine with only the gig bag. Looks like the strings at the neck are a bit different as on mine the strings are fed through the holes with the string end balls on the back instead of on the top but looks to be functional so go for it.

That looks like double ball end strings to me. I had a hell of a job finding them for the steinberger, la bella I think were the only ones I could find and they weren't great. Ended up getting the adaptor, I assume that it's not necessary to use double ball ends on this.

Double ball ends are both not necessary and shouldn't really be used. The hard case is almost certainly a Steinberger case.

Any particular reason why double ball ends shouldn't be used?? Warrn.

If I remember rightly you hadn't even seen them on a Rail untill you saw them on mine.

Been using them for the last 20 years. Not a problem and they look neat.

I don't remember seeing them on yours. I guess if they work fine it doesn't matter. Looks odd to me though.

Double ball ends make a perfect stable anchor point. At both ends.

In case you've forgotten.

I had forgotten. My memory is pretty bad. I've still never seen a set of double ball-end strings in person. What size do they have to be to fit right?
