Had this rather "stodgy" pair around for a while now...
Menage a trois..... have your attention now, do I? 1327716970

But recently had the good fortune to find the missing member. Now it is a proper household of three at last...

The new gal was purchased by the former owner with the Grovers on it and he searched for quite awhile to find the full set of originals in gold trim which came with it. Other than the TonePro and the painted-over bridge HB it is stock.

Hope to get a shot of all of them in the near future as the x110 currently in cleanup and swap mode.

Very nice trio there indeed Ice. Congrats on the score. You will love the way that X110 rock Strad sounds and plays as well as the X810 and X410. They look great together.

Beautiful guitar but that Pick guard on the LP?. Never been a fan of them on LP's. Having said that, at least you can see through it to the beauty beneath.

I like the Electra with the inlays (not sure of the model) is that an MPC model?

Your hunch is correct there, Sarc. The hollowbody on the right is an x810 MPC. One of a few also nicknamed a Tree of Life model by Electra.

Think a JazzStrad (like your Alvarez badged one-off) with MPC capability. About a pound lighter due to the additional hollow area in the back to accommodate a pair of modules. Same luxurious build as yours otherwise.

A touch lighter to my ears but feel is about the same as my wife reports it. The inlays do tend to be sensed under your fingertips at times, usually when playing runs, bending notes or fingerpicking.

I suppose the x410's slightly richer tone has to do with the greater weight and center wood mass. But since the x810 has the MPC available she always has some degree of one effect or another, if not a pair in combination, active when she plays it.
