Backing Tracks
I recently discovered this site and it is pretty good.
www.guitarbackingtrack.com
I would be interested in hearing of others where you can just click and play along with whatever you fancy.
There is even some Rush for Corsair!

Re: Backing Tracks
Hey John
I have tried Bastille Day (You should hear me at the solo, Nigel Tuffnell on Acid - No I am actually pretty good at it) and Temples of the Syrinx. Both are pretty good but the vocals on Temples are way too loud!
I have been playing Freddy King's Hideaway to death!!

Re: Backing Tracks
Very kewl link Graham!
Looks like something else to waste my time on over the holidays.
So far I'm sounding quite good...after, oh, maybe 4-5 oz of Brandy. (urp! Scusi.)

Half a bottle on a Tuesday and the other half on a Saturday.

Re: Backing Tracks
I am surrounded by reprobates and drunkards....
I also have no guitars here to play.... I am sad.

Re: Backing Tracks
Hmmmmm... I can see I've been a little too subtle; I regret that you are the aforementioned drunkards and reprobates mentioned and not my beloved, who lets me buy guitars. And other stuff.
Sad, because I have no guitars to play and won't until we take delivery of our shipped goods in February. Now wouldn't that make you blokes sad....??
You're all just mean to me.....

Great link Graham, though unlike you, I still sound rubbish
Sorry to hear your sad John, go & cheer yourself up, there's a green Lady on "For Sale, Ebay, Craigslist, TradeMe, etc."

That's terrible. My affliction is at least temporaty.
I can't play at all with this cast, but after it's off I'll be able to take advantage of these tracks. Thanks for the post!
