Looks like the same configuration as an LX or a GT.

I'd've said an Electra Phoenix X185 or X189, or even a 199 if it's a set neck, but that bridge looks like a Bendmaster Precision 2 poster, which not many Electras came out with....

Nice guitar regardless....

I requested additional photos but no reply yet. Will update if anything changes.

I'm with you though John... my immediate impression was x189.

Looks more like a x199 with that bridge and candy colour by the look of it.

Very likely you could be correct Damian, really hard to say without the backside pic.

Plus x189's also were offered in that metallic red color and I have seen one x185 on Craigslist that shade as well.

The bridge looks like a Bendmaster FT=x199, hopefully for someone, maybe.
Let us know Ice, when/if you get some pics.

The seller and I were able (finally) to connect outside of ebay.

Apparently the e(vil)one has figgured out how to block any email address sent thru their messaging service. Anyway, he will be sending me pics and I will get them up asap after receiving them.

The logic of your argument is persuasive as ever Damian, you have me sold... short of it being a very late model or some sort of one-off.

The seller is not the original owner and also stated he really knows nothing about the guitar.

I am just now gauging his willingness to end things early and sell to me direct. If not I most likely will pull the trigger on the BIN and hope to reason with him on the shipping. No way it costs $50 to send it from Dallas as I have checked into it on a former CL deal that turned sideways in the end.

You tempted as well Damian?

Candy apple Red, oh yeah. Excellent player right there, Westbone's right, a lot of guitfiddle for the money. The neck may be a little different to the Westone Spectrum however, albeit slightly. I believe the frets are a little more narrow and the neck a little more rounded. Great feel however.

That would indeed be a very nice score so I wish you luck. The set neck versions are much harder to find and play very nice. Good Luck Arthur
