Westone Thunder Jet Bass
Hey everyone, I'm new so I will start withe a big "Hey!" to everyone.
I currently own a Westone Thunder Jet Bass, it seems to be one of the less popular westones as I can't find much about it on the web compared to models such as the Thunder 1. So does anyone on this forum own one or know anything about it?
Thanks for reading.

Hello Metabass and Welcome!
Have you checked this out?
There is bound to be somebody here who has got one. One came up on eBay not so long ago!

Didn't Old Gregg's interest in Westone's come from a Thunder Jet being used by one of his favorite bands?

I only have a few poor photos of it, I will take some better ones and upload them when I have time. As for my impressions of it, well its my first bass so I have nothing to compare it to, but I have noticed its great for distortion when used with my Marshall MB amp and the tone isnt too bad in comparison with other basses if seen and heard. I also like the appearence of it, nice and black, suiting the music I like to play.

Hi All,
Try Here and go to the bottom of the page for the review that you require.
I own a Thunder Jet guitar and it is great. I have been looking for the Bass version for sometime so then I will have the pair. I play and collect all the Thunder range and still have a few on my wish list, the Jet Bass being one of them.
Hope this helps.

If so please private message me if possible.

Re: Westone Thunder Jet Bass
Hey Old Gregg,
I have held and played a few notes on Stuart Morrow's Thunder Jet!!!!!
Met the whole band in the summer of 85 when NMA played in Inverness on their No Rest for the Wicked tour.
Spoke to Stuart for about an hour about the Bass and how he plays. He showed me how to play Notice Me and a bit of Vengence. Myself and some friends went along to the venue in the afternoon to see if we could see then and ended up being welcomed with open arms. Oh happy days.
I had a Thunder 1 before I was a NMA fan and still have the beast.
It brings back a few memories and at the time brought my Bass playing to a new level.
Went to Glasgow a couple of years ago to see them again and they are still a great band.
