Never been a big spectrum fan, but I kinda like the looks of this bass:

You'd love that bass, I certainly love mine! This one is in much better shape than mine, too.

Pickups in mine are humungous; great sound! That's a cracking bass... love them in red; mine's black.

I love mine, got it locally for cheap and it is basically unplayed. I did have a problem with the bridge pickup, i hear they are prone to failure. Still need to replace it, but a great bass beside that, love the neck!

Re: Never been a big spectrum fan....
My bridge pickup died on me (the previous owner thrashed the bass pretty well), but the neck pup has a nice thick Precision-style tone. They're capable of a lot though, I have a Dimension bass which has the same pickups and while the Spectrum has the pickups further from the strings where they sound smooth, the Dimension has them up close and personal and good lord do they scream! Based on that I'd say a simple height adjustment can take you from country to rock to metal.

That's the first Westone I'd ever owned, a red Spectrum GT bass! Got a soft spot in my heart for those...
