With all those upgrades it's gotta be worth the buy it now, It looks great and I imagine it sounds outstanding.....but will it sell at that price? I doubt it, who wants to pay £299 for a vintage guitar with half the original parts missing?

Gotta second BJB on this. Obviously a pretty penny was sunk into it but as original condition instruments get more scarce this one will still be as unoriginal as it is today in many respects.

Sold my '63 Melody Maker for a premium a year ago or so and it had been thru ALL the wars as far as condtion went. Still had all original hardware and pickup though and that was what sealed the deal.

I know Ice but a good guitar is worth it whatever the mark/vintage etc.. So am tempted but without having the opportunity to try it out...
