A meeting of enthusiasts...
Well, lads and lasses; I've finally got to meet another member/moderator of the Westone forums - on our trip up to the north-east we made a point of visiting Polly and her husband Stephen - who also frequents these forums from time to time! - and had a great time!
Polly bought out her guitars and I had a plonk on them all, and Stephen bought out his lads SG and my lad was most taken with it... his favourite player is Angus Young, though atm, Alex Lifeson is right up there!! -

That's a nice PRS. I Have a PRS Swamp Ash Special currently and really miss my previous 2 PRS that had to be sold years ago. Best production guitars IMO, albeit very expensive.
Is that an acoustic PRS in the one pic? I've not yet tried one of those.

OMG! He beat me to it!
What he didn't tell you guys was that he had a bash of my Paduak I. If you remember, that's the one he always said was "bloody fugly"! What he also omitted to tell you was that he quite liked it! Hee hee I knew I'd talk him round to it eventually!
The proof is in the photo!
It was great meeting him though and my only regret is that they were only here for a very brief visit!
John, you guys ROCK!

Great that you all got to meet up, thanks for posting the pics. Sweet guitars there, that PRS made me drool a little.

Well that's one way to get our Polly back on the boards! Too much time with chickens, not enough on the geetars!! :albino:
Just terrific to see people connecting in real face time (as opposed to bloody Face Book!).
And hey! Is that Tele'sh geetar yer playin' an Ernie Ball Music Man perchance?

Sorry Barry - missed this; no; it's a Rhino and I think it's French. Plays just like a MM though - very sweet wee guitar!! And the paddy is still fugly though it sits nicely and plays well!!
