Westone XA 1420

I recently acquired a Westone model XA 1420 Anniversary Edition (looks like '87 vintage). Not finding much information about this particular Westone anywhere. I like the guitar very much, plays surprisingly well. Any information would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

The best information one could find was at westone.info but the site was closed just a day or so ago. The powers that be here at the forum are working behind the scenes to attempt to rectify this so say tuned.

While doing some research on the guitar I did find the Westone website and, as you mentioned, has been deleted. I've tried every search engine I can think of and almost nothing ever comes up for this guitar. I'm kind of excited to find out more about it.

Believe it or not, I bought this guitar at a garage sale for FIVE dollars! I had never even heard of Westone before this. Put a set of strings on it and a new battery in it, and it's hands down one of the best guitars I've ever played! (been playing 17 years, main axe is a late 70's Gibson Les Paul, have owned other Gibsons, Jacksons, Ibanez...)

5 bucks??? That's a nice find for 5 bucks. It looks a bit like the Westone Corsair models.

Yes, my man, i will do all i can to contribute. I have a 1987 special editions catalog, an 87 price list, and a Spectrum series catalog (with FX). I wish i had more, and i also need to find a friend with a scanner (shouldn't be too hard). Lets get this going! We need a Westie info site.
