Rought!! The gauntlet is thrown down. Let's have them boys........
Spring: August Schell Maifest
Summer: Little Kings Light Cream Ale
Fall: Grain Belt Nordeast
Winter: Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout
Mind you now, this list is only good as a baseline reference. It is FAR, FAR, FAR from complete. The perfect brew is out there, I just have not lived long enough to sample it yet.

From NZ, I have imbibed and enjoyed Speights Old Dark and Emersons Bookbinder; in Australia, Swan Lager and here in the UK, Fursty Ferret and Fullers London Porter. Tiger in Singapore was OK, too....

Yeah I must be. She saw my reply and reminded me that Boddington's is her fav, Guinness a close #2.

I'm afraid to say that I've only truly enjoyed Guinness once and that was in Dublin; every other place I've had it, it seemed rough and harsh - it don't travel well!!
Haven't seen the Fullers Special Bitter..... yet!!!

That's the placebo effect.

Oooooohhh..... that's low........ underhanded....... dishonest.
I understand that Pilsner Urquell is the same. A freshly poored liter at the brewery and a bottle here in the U.S. have very little in common.

Hey, where did this thread come form, sneaky
Well you know mine, Bathams Bostin Best Biter brewed in the Black Country, but we wont go there
looks good on a bike too
But for a nice light ale in a bottle at home, it has to be Fullers organic Honey Dew
Just had one

Sadly there aren't many Fuller pubs in the Midlands, There's one in Brumigum but having not been to Birmingham for 30 yeas or so that doesn't help. luckily they have Honey Dew at the Supermarket & as its organic I'm aloud that
I rarely venture down the smoke (London) but have been known to imbibe in a drop of Fullers daft bitter when in the regone, Fullers have so many labels that your spoilt for choice, Westbone's your man, if you can get him off the Guinness long enough, there must be plenty of Fullers Pubs around by him
I can recommend Fuller ESB & I guess London Pride could be found even in Minnie SO ta, enjoy.
Re: your favourite malted beverage if you please...
Yep, plenty of Fullers available round here, hic,
My local sells it with numerous guest ales available every week, Bishops finger, Goblin snot, Weavels Dew, Tons of weird names. My buddy drinks 'real ale' some good, some not so. Although they all seem to have the same effect on him.
