Westone Tuners!
Anyone got a set of black Westone tuners? I'm looking for more than one set if possible.
Got a beat up old useless project guitar with decent tuners? I'll give ya $30 a set
If you read this post a year from now, please PM me, I'm sure I'll still be looking

Altertatively, do any of the common replacement tuners fit Westones without mods? (Not that I've stopped looking for a few sets of black westone tuners)

Have you checked out Gotoh's? (Metric diameter shaft)

Re: Westone Tuners!
Thanks for the posts.
I'll measure the dimensions of my current tuners and see if they will fit correctly. I'm trying to avoid putting another little hole for the screw as well.
I still would like a set of westone ones if anyone ever comes across a set. Since I have one set for my 12 string project I would rather get a 2nd set of westones so all 12 tuners match instead of installing 2 sets of replacements...but if I have to I will. As long as a replacement will fit I can always keep an eye out on ebay and swap em out at a later date.

Just to hijack the thread a little... check out the tuners on the Vantage VA912...

... I found this arrangement fabulously east to use! Worth thinking about??

My 12-string bass does similar, the bass strings use bass tuners and the octave strings use guitar tuners. It looks cool and is very convenient at a glance.

I like the idea of the alternating sizes. It looks like it would make tuning much easier.

Re: Westone Tuners!
It does!! That particular guitar belongs to a mate in Australia who came to visit and bought it to show me. He doesn't play at all so I set it up and I can tell you, those tuners made the job just SO much easier...

Re: Westone Tuners!
Nope... not a note!! There's a photo of the occasion of his visit and I am holding the VA912 in a very possessive manner... he said later that he was a bit worried that he wouldn't be able to pry it out of my hands!!

Beautiful guitar to play... and just to look at! See that red Invader II... I bought that because Don didn't really like it so everything turned out OK!!
