Maybe just the neck is Westone?

Nope... probably a Westone neck but that stringlock looks like an FR and the bridge isn't familiar...

I was going to put this one up too.

I'll probably get flamed by those with more knowledge but I'm thinking late model/ run out after the Matsumoku plant had closed? It's a real oddball, the tuners are Westone, the headstock logo is as I'd expect but the truss-rod cover cover doesn't look right. But the string-locks look like the ones on my Spectrum?

Moving South, I don't remember a red/ black combo like this and there's no engraving on the neck-plate. The pick-ups don't match and the bridge pup looks awful close to the bridge/ trem unit. The knobs might be switchmasters (can't get a clear picture on my computer) and the control layout doesn't look like any Westone I know. And the whammy bar? Just weird; looks too short but trem arms often go missing over the years.

If not a post-production model, my other thought is that this might be a Westone neck + another (Ibanez) body?

A weird one, eh?
Well, the ad title does say "Ibanez Hardware" so I guess that's what the trem bridge is? It's a butt ugly design!
If you look closer you can see the stud holes for the original bridge, and I guess they routed out the body (destroyed it) to accommodate the trem.

The logo looks correct but I don't recognize the headstock shape, and there is definitely sumpthin' weird about that bridge pup. I get the feeling that there was once a single coil in there. The body reads Ibanez to me. geek

Yep, definitely a Bitsa. That headstock looks like the Korean/Chinese of new, notice the headstock joint on the back plus the trussrod cover. That trem does look like a Khaler though.

If you look to one side of the trem, you can see a hole for a standard fixed bridge. I dare say that underneath the trem, there are holes for a fixed tail piece.

The body reminds me of a Vantage 115 like this one on ebay

The neck is probably off a Clipper Six, it's the only one I know of with that shape headstock
