Why "should be salvageable"? It looks fine, if worn, to me, and the ad doesn't say it's a project. Looks utterly bargaintastic to me.

Yeah, I agree!! I've only just got an amp and run mine up; I like it!! It's quite different to the MMKs; a little less 'brash'(?) for lack of a better term, but it has a lovely tone... bargaintastic indeed!!!

Go for it man, just make sure you are wearing seriously dark sunglasses, and DO NOT connect that purple strap, nothing could hold back that colour clash!
