Is there anything that makes this looks like it might be a Westone? It looks like a completely generic fat strat to me.

Looking at the contour chamfer on the bottom end of the body, I would say that its been brutally attacked by a home custom enthusiast. What it is or may have been will be a complete mystery.

It looks like it's come to the point now that simply invoking the "Westone" or "Matsumoku" name, even in a question, is enough to generate sales interest. A lot of people are gonna get burned by this tactic.

It looks like the single coils are oversized to me?

It reminds me of a guitar my brother had back in the early 90's. It was a Hohner Arbor Series Strat clone with fat pickups just like that in it.

I doubt if there is anything remotely Westone about it. clown
