Is it the angle this is photographed at, or is the shape of this a bit odd? Or is it my imagination. I do like the all black with Maple fretboard look.

Those larger pics are at an odd angle, I think... foreshortens the upper bout a little....

The older finishes faded being nitrocellulose on the gloss side. They play and sound 'king great. Have a red"faded" one. The green one's are faded summer blue.
The black one's are matt. Apparently.

They're are a top bass, they even sound and play better in a quarry.? Black Westone Concord (UK Ebay) Icon_eek Well worth a dig at. Cheap, top class bass.
