Not anymore.
Nope, though I would sometimes take one in an alternative tuning, and I always had my lap steel.

I gig mine. I always bring a backup, but have never needed one so far.

I still gig every once in a while. I mostly take my modest MIC London City Comet Telecaster copy with me. Solid, dependable, cheap, easy to replace. No worry. So i can leave my collectibles at home.
Re: Do you go giggin' ?
My gigging days are over but in the 90's I did hundreds of gigs and recorded loads of demos with Westone Thunder basses, in fact I can only think of a couple of occasions that I used anything else.

Re: Do you go giggin' ?
My serious gigging days are over, although I did play a home wedding last Fall in a trio (no Westone on that one, used the Parker and the Ovation).
A way back in the day, I used the Gibson ES330 exclusively, no back up! After I got the Spectrum ST in '85 the Gibson was retired from stage work and I added an Ovation 1983 Collectors Edition.
I used these two consistently for nearly 15 years--no backups! Never had a problem with the Ovation. Smacked into more mic stands and cymbals than I can count, and I don't think I even busted a string on the Westie! Bloody tough guitar!

PRS CE-24 is my main guitar - but I will bring my Electra X960 Ultima - or my Genesis I to play two songs in an altered tuning.
We gig around once or twice per month. We have two gigs next weekend.
