How would you feel if Westone was an American or Canadian company?  Maybe we like it because it's Japanese?

We love Westones not because they're Japanese, but because they are damn good instruments.

I don't find the American flag offensive at all, flags are seen all the time on instruments of all kinds. Not what I would do, but this is very well done.

I just wish they had taken the time to freshen up the paint on the hardware. The worn metal look doesn't match a fresh paint job very well.

While the custom paintjob appears to be very well done indeed, I do find it *extremely* comical to swaddle a Quantum in an american flag graphic...

This comedy did however inspire me to settle on a new paintjob on either my Quantum or Raider II bass, though...!!!

Also, the original control knobs on this Quantum have been changed out with what look like Calrad 85-5689 knobs that have had the alu insert "painted" over with a black felt pen...!?!
