Battery compartment  Empty Battery compartment

Hi

I'm new one here and have recently acquired a thunder 1a so looking at doing it up and
I am looking at trying to replace the battery compartment in my thunder 1a has anyone had experience with this. I need something with easier accces and was looking at the gotoh bb04w. Has anyone had any experience with this.

No experience with doing this particular mod, but I have to ask...how often do you plan on replacing the batteries?? The ones in my 2 Thunders are still going strong after many years!

Removing 2 screws is hardly a chore, eh? Depending on the dimensions you might be in for some routng. Seems like a lot of bother for no real gain. Personally I'd spend the money and effort on something else.

But it's your guitar. Knock yourself out! Wink
