Clipper CL4112 Gumtree

I don't know if anyone is interested but this mauve Clipper CL4112 has just come up for sale just down the way from me. Happy to collect on your behalf and store and you can then send me down a suitable case/cardboard guitar box so I can send it on to you.....just a thought (sorry but I don't have any boxes at the moment)

I suspect that's been re-finished as I cannot see any binding, and I don't think it was offeed in purple! Is the stringlock there? My old eyes can't see....

That's quite nice, though....

Nor mine...could do with a better photo...think your right about the refinish too...couldn't find another on a quick web scan

It's fitted with this type of string lock.

... i've seen professional musicians with wires all over the headstock. i've a vague idea that it's supposed to be 'cool' ... but don't quote me.

Mostly either laziness, or the lack of a cutting tool methinks, especially with younger players. Saw quite a few in the shop "back in the day".

I look upon this as a safety hazard if nothing else. A poke with a string end is no fun, especially in the face.

Well the colour is original and I'd say it's Ultra Violet as in the '89 New Horizons' catalogue. Also the trem is a TRS 101.

More than likely found some old stock and jazzed it up with the colours they were spraying at the time. Who knows but it's certainly original paint.
