Finally: Westone Pantera shirts

I finally pulled the trigger on these  (after posting about them in Dec. 2012)... I will post actual photos when I have the shirts in-hand and available (in a week or so) and will sell them via Ebay.  Since we try to prevent our little forum from becoming a farmer's market, I will not be advertising them here beyond this single post. Direct purchases can be made also by Private Message, with payment via Paypal.  Other shirt designs will definitely occur... with Spectrum series already on the horizon.

I'm not hosting a specific site for them (and do not plan to), but if your offer would link to this thread or there is another way, it would be appreciated.  Worth noting, the actual shirts will be a flat, French blue  (not textured looking like the image - but very close to this color).  Initially I will have Large & XL men's shirts available... Larger sizes can be special ordered but it may take some time b/c those orders will need to be filled after the initial small order of shirts is sold.  Forum administrators deserve at least a complimentary shirt, by the way

When you have all the details worked out let me know and we can create a "sticky" post for you here and put a notice/link on the Shop section of the web site either to here or your eBay site. Please provide some sample pictures.

Mate, I'm 6'2"...and that's just through the middle!!   Yeah; far too many pies and grog as a youngster, eh! At one time my height and build camouflaged it a bit but I'm a little beyond that now!!

Not to worry Corsair, I need large sizes as well due to my 6'4" and 260lb frame. lol Large frame and large weight but great body fat % at 21% for age 53 Good ole military training and discipline I Guess  lol   Just broken down in every other aspect. Great looking shirts.

UPDATE:  I pick up the shirts from the printer on Monday, July 24, 2017. Was originally going to print them last year and my vendor shut his doors  (thankfully before he took my money or I took anyone else's!).  I also have a few XXLs coming - but haven't put those on Ebay yet.

They have arrived and are shipping now!

Well guys, sorry to report that the new design got snagged (deleted) for copyright infringement concerns by the vendor. Oddly enough, the same website has Fender, Gibson, Pink Floyd and other obvious, LIVE BRANDS being sold by unofficial artists - so I'm more than a little aggravated. I will plead my case by bringing to attention those violating active brands.  Maybe you'll see the new design on the 'bay one day.  Very sorry!

This ain't over: I've done some serious copyright research. I don't want to say too much, but I expect that you will see the items reinstated on the website that I shared earlier today!

I seem to recall one of our members doing a Westone copyright search some years back and IIRC he actually ended up successfully claiming the right to it.

For the life of me I don't remember who though! If you use Google's excellent "site:" search parameter on this forum it might just kick out some details. (Our native search here is bloody useless!)

i believe it was Sarcaster who acquired the Westone copyright, but he let his claim expire after a year. the last i thing my research showed (which was some years ago) was that there was no claim to a copyright for musical instruments under the name of Westone. The current Westone copyright is for electronics.

Unfortunately, he got involved in some personal conflict here (not I) and chose to not only leave our happy family, but also to delete his account along with his informative posts! What a pity, he was a talented and valuable member.

What was the conflict about that could have been that bad?  Failed sale?

BTW:  I always loved Sarcaster's posts:  His comments reflected his username, but all around a great guy. If I remember correctly, he was the user that stumbled upon a small hoard of locking nut pieces and shared with many of us.  For that, he should be immortalized with a crown.

Would you be willing to upload your newly designed Pantera shirt that appeared on your Redbubble store to ebay instead?

If so I'm a guaranteed customer because that new design is better than your previous one.

Update regarding all Westone T-shirts:  Another member of our forum has registered the trademark for Westone Guitars after my attempts on 09/10/21 at getting RedBubble to offer the shirts for sale. I was not advised of his registration on 09/16/21, and after a last ditch attempt at selling them via Bonfire, I was finally provided the trademark registration. I was never advised of this trademark registration by the owner, despite direct communication here and via eBay. Due to this, none of my efforts will be made available for sale, and both the Bonfire listing (that began on 12/14/21) and the old eBay listing will be discontinued.  The Bonfire listing sold two shirts - one to me and another forum member. My total gross "profit" was $2.20, available to the trademark owner upon request.

I'm also distressed that it is a forum member (I have a hunch who it is) who has stooped so low as to trash this effort to show our pride and boost the brand. Lord knows something like this is not done for fame and fortune!

Barry - I appreciate your compassion - you have always been a "Hero, Legend..." and a source of inspiration and kind, direct communication.  It did rattle me very much - but the issue has been resolved and was a misunderstanding that has been corrected. Whoever your hunch is - I do not think they deserve a lowering of your opinion.  The results of which could fair well for us all, so no harm has been done (other than the rattling... I'm old, I can take it
