Broken Coil MMK 45 Empty Broken Coil MMK 45

Just bought a Thunder 1A in need of a bit of TLC and found that bridge pick-up is not working.

Pulled it out, tested it and found an "open circuit" on one of the coils. I have taken this off and found that it had been previously fiddled with. The start end of the winding is broken off very close to the bobbins and, as it is trapped under all the other windings, I can't get enough slack to solder it back onto its carrier wire. The finish end is just twisted onto the other carrier wire.

Anyone got a clever fix, or a coil they want to part with?

Had a similar problem wif a couple a MMK45's recently. Took the two good coils and made one fully working pup...then sent the rest to Damian who made a true UBC out of them! Broken Coil MMK 45 Toothless_smile
