hello, i don't know know if anyone can help but.... i got a westone concord I bass  ( or a concord II) i cant tell because there is no numbers on it or the name on the headstock , i only know its a westone because of the body shape and the westone name on both the neck back plate and the tune pegs , i got it from a charity shop for £20 so no bad i guess , it is missing its pickgaurd , does anyone know where i can source one from? and also its missing the control plate with the pots  but i still have the pickups ( i don't know if their original, they have the yellow black and blue wiring, does anyone know how to wire one ?

any help would be appreciated

Hi Grants
try here for a Concord I wiring diagram:
 http://www.westoneguitars.net/fixme/wiring-diagrams/concord-i-bass/

and here for a Concord II
http://www.westoneguitars.net/fixme/wiring-diagrams/concord-ii/

and the pickguard is all in one piece, see here
http://www.westoneguitars.net/basses/concord/

You won't be able to get a new plate, but there may be a chance one of our esteemed members could do you a template so you can buy a blank piece and cut it yourself.

if it's a 32.25" scale it will be a Concord I, and a 34" scale is a Concord II.

what colour body do you have?

I don't have one of these basses nor am I an electronics wiz, but have a look here
http://www.westoneguitars.net/fixme/wiring-diagrams/concord-i-bass/

my guess would be the yellow is hot, (red in the picture) and the black being earth, so have a go with some crocodile clips for a temporary connection and see how you get on.

It won't be long before someone more skilled than me chimes in with the info you need.
