Who is bidding on this tragedy?! Horrible Dynasty

I don't see anything redeeming about it. Anyone?

What a pity. That headstock is just tragic.
Looks something (but only something) like a Parker "hockey stick". Don't know what went through this fool's head.

Hacked Dynasty on the Bay Empty Re: Hacked Dynasty on the Bay

What are the chances that this was an early Dynasty with Single coils and a Kahler? Look at the points. Very long. Longer than production models. And the case is different also. Could be more to this.

I'd asked the seller for photos under the pickup rings but he's not giving them. He says that I could be right that they may have been filled and rerouted. The trem cavity would've needed filled also. But the points, that's what gets me. They're just too long for the regular production models. And the case matches them. So?! Wonder what Tom Presley would have to say about this.

The more I look at that the worse it looks.

The neck plate, top end of fingerboard, not to mention the obvious. Evil or Very Mad

Also never seen a Dynasty body with a huge cutaway going from the bridge to the control cavity.

Looks like the bottom and top are glued together.

Is it a Westone :?:

I know, it's real bad. The horns and case still get me though.

Exactly. Either it's a custom, or an early version.

Hmmmm, i've never seen a case like that either. Pretty cool though! Really makes me wonder if its a Westie like Westbone said, other companies made similar shapes. If so must be a pretty rare one, too bad she is pretty much trashed.

I'm betting that either has been physically altered to make it look "more cool", or it's not a Westone body. Further, I'd be almost 100% certain that the single coils are part of that alteration; and that having a Kahler is as well!
We only see Kahlers on the high end Panteras; these had a Bendmaster with all the routing that requires.

This is just awful....

The Kahler's a knock off also, the seller has that for sale too. We may never know the story behind this poor thing.

Watch it end up being some crazy prototype or something. Hacked Dynasty on the Bay 3787846186 I too thought that it may be a factory knock off, which it very well could be, but unlikely since no one's ever seen one like it before! The matching case and knock off Kahler tell me that it's probably a factory short run from somewhere. Matsumoku? Who knows. I hope not! Hacked Dynasty on the Bay 3356915118

Don't forget shipping. Assuming the seller combined shipping, the buyer paid almost $90 for it all total. Would've you bought this for $90? I wouldn't have.

Still intrigues me. There was something different about that one, IF it had been unmolested I mean. The fangs and case led onto a mystery about that one.
