I can almost live with the pink (almost), but I do not like the pointy head stocks on these things. Just doesn't fit aesthetically with that sculptured body IMHO. tongue

You're right Barry, the 350 headstock fits so much better with that body style! Pointy stocks just don't seem to jive.

privates!! I like the pointy headstock on the flouro colours - very, very 80's....

The 3 a side headstock on the 350 just looks frumpy.... Cool

Bah humbug!
Even the APII Urchin with all it's swirls and curves had the good sense not to have a point on the top.
It's just dumb looking. Like a big turd on a bowl of jello. tongue

Gotta go with John on this one. I dig the pointy headstock, always have and always will i guess. I think it looks great on a strat style body where the 350 has tuners on both sides of the headstock like a Gibby. Doesn't fit a strat syle body imho.

Over $600 for that??? I used to own one just like it.. and you guys know how I feel about those Bendmasters.. I think I bought it brand new for about $250... I for one like the headstock....its the 3 on a side that wouldn't look good on this.. Pantera's have a strat shape...6 on a side looks cool. I don't like chunky obtuse squared off stuff...sleek lines.

Um, you can still have 6 on a side...just lose the bloody point! It doesn't work with the sculptured body lines.
The point was simply an 80's "fashion" fad. Rolling Eyes

Tell that to Jackson and B.C. Rich!! I like the pointy end....rounded off would look silly..squared off would look even worse. Save that for some other model....that so-called 80's fad is still here! Fads come and go.. but classic remains, which is why Jackson and others are still here...would you change the fins on an old Cadillac just cause you didn't like fins or would you leave them?

Don't particularly like the pointy's neither or Cadillacs for that matter.
Different strokes for different folks.

We've had a Jackson (and a few Ibanez's) hanging around the shop it seems like forever.
They're still on the wall, points and all, as the Fenders, Gibsons and Gretsch's sell away. It's only the kids who are interested in the pointies...but they don't have any $$$. Razz
