Looks like Paduak on top, with those push button switches, prototype? one off?

I reckon that's just an XA1330 or similar that's had it's top stripped; looks yellow on the back ?!

That's definitely a solid(Paduak) top on that. Have a good look.
The back is stained see through ash. serial no. dates it at 1986.
controls are totally different to a xa1330.

No idea what this is, but the top is absolutely beautifully grained! The back of the body and the back of the headstock show an awful lot of stress fractures in the finish though, I wonder what the story is there?
