That's a great colour combination, I don't think I've seen that gray finish before. Very striking with the black and brass accents!
Oh, and the guitar is a great little player too!

That one was priced at about 285 +- a few squid a few months back. The colour is Onyx. Not a nice colour in the flesh, kind of a dirty green/grey hue. Does look ok with the black s'plate though. Looks in fine nick. MMk, with 2 sh-t hot singles.
GAS is itching.
There was a Thunder II Bass on ebay recently, same colour.

I was actually quite interested in the Grey Concord, but if Westbone is right about the previous price (and he will be cause he is a cunning fox), then I ain't even going to bother to bid. I am instead going to bid on Westbone's kitchen with a Prestige thrown in for about 225. I have heard he will ship over the pond!!

That's a nice Concord III, In good nick as well.
The more I look at it the better it looks. They do play and sound 'king good. Nice HSS configuration.
Fingerboard looks like a nice piece of timber, do like a rosewood board.

I bought the Concord 111. Way too much money for a Concord but I have never seen one like it, so I couldn't let it go for a few quid.

On the flip side, I have picked up some bargains recently so it all balances out. If you can guess my recent Westone bargain then you win a pizza {conditions apply}.

But as I say the price was a bit high, but it has very unusual colour, gold features and rosewood board. Most I see are maple and whilst I love maple to look at, I would rather make an arse of complicated solos on a rosewood board 'cause I've only got myself to blame.

As I say, you win some and you lose some but it all balances out. But it is better that they are all kept in the Westone or Matsu community.

Pizza is available {one small slice} at any time within the next 12 months. I am cooking it now so it might be a bit cold by the time you get here.

Not quite sure that the Rainbow is Matsumoku as it has a 1988 serial number. Opinions welcome. But hey, an Epi dot would be a good buy at that price so who cares!!!

How do you know? I thought it was 1988 and on the cusp of Jap/Korean manufacture.

To be honest, I saw a buy it now and I pressed the button regardless, as I figured it was a good buy. If it is indeed Matsu, then you may have to wait until I'm dead before it reappears on the bay. This will be when my wife takes on a toyboy and blows my collection on a St Tropez jaunt.

I will of course spin in my grave and curse the young jackal with all the venom of a creature that has a handy reputation for venom such as a snake or a politician or something.
