Re: HELP MEEEE!!!!
hi and welcome,
sounds interesting. here is a little tutorial how to upload pics (i'm not sure if i had to register somewhere, but if that's the case i haven't recieved any spam-mail so far):
1) press the button that is shown in the pic:
2) brouse your computer for the pic you want to upload and press "open":
3) press "host it":
4) copy the image url (right mouse-click):
5)press the button next to the last one(1), paste the image url(2) and press ok(3).you should now see your pic in the "post-window":
I guess you can use any other image url in step 5...
hope this helps,
regards,
hans

Re: HELP MEEEE!!!!
heyho,
the link seems to be broken, but this one does the job. you've got a very nice guitar there. looks like a pre-production model of a rainbow to me...since i don't know much about the serials before 1981 i can only guess that this one could have been manufactured in the very late 70s, perhaps even 1980...1969 is a little bit early I think.
however i could be wrong...other opinions?

Re: HELP MEEEE!!!!
1969 is too early for a Matsumoku Westone - I would guess this is an early 1980 model. There's a similar one here

There's a similar one here
...apart from the machine heads and that one being a set-neck and the one on westone.info being a bolt-on...but yes, they really look quite similar...
Re: HELP MEEEE!!!!
Definitely looks like a prototype, that's the logo from the acoustics.

That is a beauty!
The question of changing the pickups is always a touchy subject. We "purists" tend to leave Uncle Mats' original designs alone (unless they're broken) but many prefer to experiment. If you do decide to change 'em be sure to hold on to the originals!!
