Pantera -minor project (US)

Here's a relatively cheap project for someone. (BIN=US$225)
Not sure of the year, but it doesn't look too bad.
Just how in hell do you lose the cover plate, two saddles, AND the jack anyway???

It's a bit of a puzzler, actually - that bridge looks like the 'sort-of' transitional bridge before the FT and Deluxe, but the headstock looks to have had a locking nut which would be problematic to acquire these days!! Looks OK, though....

Mmmm??? I think David used to have those type of saddles for sale in spares, but I suppose they will be long gone by now!

Is it just me or does that writing on the body look sort of... odd??? Not typical Westone type font perhaps???

That was the first thing that hit me too. It isn't what we're used to seeing, but that doesn't make it wrong.
I don't know if it's original or not but it does look kind of age appropriate??

So the bridge is not a regular Bendmaster FT?

The string lock can be sourced from Kahler.
