This just popped up on the radar, WESTONE SPECTRUM DX ELECTRIC GUITAR .

It seems OK, a few chips but pretty clean. The pictures ain't great but I have spotted that the knobs are MIA (nothing new there then!), and I can't see any fine tuners or string locking nut, or any screw holes in the headstock for the lock nut?

Also I think the bridge pickup might have been changed, it's pole pieces are shiny while the neck pickup poles look rusted, but this could mean nothing. The seller mentions the trem arm is missing.

£75 Starting Bid

Hi NIgel, congrats and welcome!
I just restored a battered up DX with some help from "spares". If you hurry you should be able to get the locking nuts you need HERE.
Unfortunately it looks like the trem arms are sold out (if you need one) but you should be able to find a suitable replacement in the guitar parts after market.
Enjoy your Spectrum, it's a great guitar!

Yeah; well done there, fella!! Good price as they seem to be getting quite pricey indeed! As Barry says whip along and see Uncle David at spares and see whats what; Stewmac do a very good wang bar that looks the part.

Are there any screw holes at all in the headstock where the stringlock should be? I'm sort-of wondering if that is an FT trem or the trem that the likes of my GT has....
