Re: Necesito información sobre esta guitarra
Hola y bienvenidos!
Hmm, this is very puzzling.
The body shape says it's a Pantera design but which model is not clear.
The body finish is not an original option. Maybe refinished?
Look here for information on the full Pantera line --> LINK
The closest model appears to be the X390 but that has a set neck, not a bolt on --> LINK
As you can see the head stock is also a 6-in-line "pointy", quite different.
The pickup and bridge matches yours but the controls are not quite right.
The model X275 Standard does have a bolt on neck but it's a 6-in-line head stock plus a different pickup set and controls!--> LINK
The only one on our website with a 3 + 3 headstock is the model Deluxe X350MA, but the bridge and stop tail and controls do not match. This X350MA was also a very rare version, so it's definitely not that one! --> LINK
The more I look at the neck it seems more like it may be from a Westone Thunder!--> LINK
That suggests that it may possibly be that this was a pre-production model and the final configuration was not yet determined prior to release. Other than that I have no idea.
As for restoring it, finding original parts would be pretty well impossible but you should be able to fit it with off the shelf parts and electronics.
As for the finish, that's up to you.It looks to be in good condition so if you like it just clean it and choose suitable hardware to compliment it.
You are fortunate in having that original case, it looks to be in good condition too.

Re: Necesito información sobre esta guitarra
ummm, it's a bass guitar
the closest model is a Pantera 2, which is a 4-string with a bolt-on neck
same body style, but has a different headstock from the one in question above
i'd guess this is a transitional model, maybe among the first 5 string basses they made, but the last of the Pantera models.
1990 Sign Of The Times catalog
that same catalog shows the Spectrum bass that is a 5-string but has a later style Westone logo, also not the same shape headstock

buena suerte

Re: Necesito información sobre esta guitarra
after looking closely at the first pic, i am quite sure the neck and the body do not go together as original parts.
if you look carefully at the holes in the body at the bridge, where the strings pass through the body, there are 4 holes for strings and 3 holes for screws.
also, it appears that the wear marks inside the case caused by the strings against the padding would indicate a 4-string bass lived there.
my guess would be that there was a refinish job done with the hope of converting it to a 5-string bass. but the problem of strings through the body scuttled the project.
no idea where the neck came from with the actual Westone logo.
the Westone website shows a 1990 Korean made Pantera bass with a headstock that resembles the Thunder headstock, not the previous pointy headstock made by Matsumoku. that would lead me to believe that a prototype 5-string would evolve to a more arrow shaped headstock that we see in the other pics is very possible.
================================
