WTB Spectrum Dark Grey Metallic
Looking to replace one of the old guitars I used to own (aaahhhh....) so if anyone has one of these collecting dust please drop me a line. I honestly can't remember if it was the GT or the II but it was definitely dark grey, and yes, it's the colour that's important!
Cheers,
Andy

Very similar, yes. Maybe my research wasn't good enough. Could have been an LX then ?

Re: WTB Spectrum Dark Grey Metallic
i can't really say what exactly this one should be called, 'LX' or 'GT'
this is a look at the headstock, this does not have the model name on the headstock the way the later spectrum models did
somebody might know what it was called when it was sold, but i don't know for sure
the 'LX' models had string locks, this one doesn't. they also had floating tremolo and this one has the classic six screw trem
a well known statement around here; specifications subject to change without notice

Re: WTB Spectrum Dark Grey Metallic
The one I had definitely did NOT have string locks.

Re: WTB Spectrum Dark Grey Metallic
Hi again - yes, Silverstone was what my research had suggested (although "graphite" was mentioned too - not sure which was the official colour) - NB the link you sent started to load but then returned a database error.
Note (to myself) I found a URL (which I'm not allowed to post here yet!) and subsequent links highlights the difference(s) between the Spectrum II and the Spectrum Series II ...
