Spectrum DX hard case
Hi there.
I'm a complete newbie to forum as today I acquired a Spectrum DX like yours. (a reference to the original post location --Barry)
It needs some TLC and a pro setup (which I'll sort out shortly) but first of all it needs a hard case. Do you use one / can you recommend one?
All input welcome ... it's my first Speccy!
Thanks.
Stu

Re: Spectrum DX hard case
Hi Stubedo and welcome.
I have split your post off from the original topic in which you posted, and started a new one here in the Wanted forum (it was off topic there).
Congratulations on getting your Spectrum! These are terrific playing guitars and you're gonna love it!
When you're "probation" period is up and you're able to post pictures, please start a new thread in the Members' Westones forum and show us your baby!

Re: Spectrum DX hard case
Concerning the hard shell case, you are very unlikely to find an original (custom branded) one, but you never know eh?
If you are just looking for "a" hard shell case there are plenty out there which will do just fine. Most Stratocaster style cases should be OK.
Most of my guitars are in padded gig bags because I no longer play in a band but my personal preference for a hard shell is the tear drop case which works just fine, is lighter, and doesn't take up as much real estate.
Not sure if this style is widely available everywhere though: It looks like THIS
