Beautiful red finish. Awesome guitar but it's time to let her go. Check out my listing on reverb

Geez Louise!
The LX is a great little guitar but you're not gonna get Strat prices

Re: Selling my 87 Westone Spectrum LX
Yeah, I set the price high then gradually lower the price. Let the market set the price. I'm open to offers I just relisted it.Westbone wrote:How much????....keep dreaming....

Re: Selling my 87 Westone Spectrum LX
Well, um, ah, that's still very optimistic, but good luck with the sale.

Re: Selling my 87 Westone Spectrum LX
We're not merchants here, just enthusiasts. Ultimately, it is worth whatever somebody is willing to pay for it.What would you say is a fair price to ask for it?
That's not being 'flip', it's just the way it is.
It also depends on how patient you are. Sometimes it takes awhile for the guitar to find the right buyer. Reverb has a large audience so your chances are reasonably good that you'll find a buyer eventually.
Your LX is in good shape and should draw attention. Your current price compared to other Westies on the site is a little high but you have advertised that you'll entertain offers, so you can always negotiate the price with an interested party eh?
I would not keep changing the price, leave it where it is.
Changing the price indicates an insecure seller and people will be inclined to sit back and wait for you to keep dropping the price instead of making an offer.
Unless you're strapped for cash and need to make a quick sale, wait. Don't appear desperate.
Determine what your absolute bottom price is and keep it in mind when discussing any offers you receive.
