Hello - First time poster.

I've just agreed to buy an HSS Spectrum MX, Should be picking it up tomorrow.

I already own a few Matsumoku Arias, and have played my Mate's Raven and his Thunder Bass, so kind of know what to expect on the quality front. Anything I should be looking for?

Welcome to the Forums.
The Spectrum, IMHO, is one of the best little players produced by Uncle Mats, with an amazing neck and comfortable body design. There's a Spectrum configuration to suit just about any tonal variation you would need.

That's why you need a bunch of 'em!
Quite under rated.
