THESE KNOBS WILL BE IN CONSTANT SUPPLY VIA LISTINGS ON www.ebay.co.uk AND ARE AVAILABLE TO SHIP WORLD WIDE.
They are precision machined in our workshop at Martian Guitars from solid brass and are a faithful reproduction of the original knobs. They are sold un-lacquered in sets of 3 so as to match perfectly.
TIP: With reference to lacquering... A lot of Thunder brassware was lacquered and it always ends up looking a mess through chipping. When I get a thunder into the workshop to be worked on, I always remove the knobs, the bridge plate, dismantle the saddles and remove the offending lacquer using 1000 grit down to 2000 grit and finish with metal polish. The gleaming brass is worth the effort. Yes, brass does tarnish but it does so evenly (unlike bitty lacquer) and can always be repolished.

And it will stay that way!

Just to make them easy to find, I have linked to UMPDV5000's eBay page here:

Do you have any other brasswear for Westones?

Hello DreamRaven, I have no other brass parts for Westones other than the knobs. I make and fit brass nuts to guitars by request but they do need to be fitted to the guitar at the time. Although the width tends to be fairly standard of 42mm & 43mm the depth can vary from guitar to guitar and the optimum depth of the slots needs to be done after fitting. Pre slotted brass nuts are widely available on ebay anyway. As for the brass bridge and saddles on a Thunder, they are a Gotoh part. I have only ever found them available from Gotoh Japan at a forbbing price to all but the very wealthy.

Hello DreamRaven, I only have the brass Knobs for the Thunder. I make and fit brass nuts to order but they need to be fitted to the guitar so as to cut the slots to the optimum depth. Pre-slotted brass nuts in 42mm & 43mm width and varying depths are widely available on ebay but you need proper nut slot files and the knowledge to cut the depth. The Brass Bridge and Saddles are a Gotoh part and I have only ever found them available direct from Gotoh in Japan at a forbbing cost to all but the wealthy. However, if you are prepared to put up with the Gotoh gold coloured steel version, they do appear on eBay from the odd seller for around £40 - £50.
