Premier Guitar magazine put out a brief but very informative tutorial on how to approach working on a tube amp.

Nashville amp tech and builder Kye Kennedy describes the steps you need to take to protect yourself from potentially lethal voltages before working on a tube amp. This includes a detailed explanation and demonstration of how to properly discharge filter capacitors.

If you've ever been tempted to tinker with one but don't have the background to do so, please watch this first so you'll still be around to do the work afterwards!
