An extraordinary player!
I came across this fellow a short while ago on the new Parker guitar web site.
His previous posts were amazing enough but the latest ones from a Halloween gig are simply mind blowing!
Forget one-man band.
Honestly, he's a veritable one-man concert!
He's a great player but that's just the start. He's a computerized, audio-visual wizard extraordinaire.
Have a look at this, then search the site under Video And Audio Performances for more of XROCKER:
I've got a fever..For More Cowbell
BTW he's playing a beautiful Parker DragonFly with newly installed Lollar pups.
Whatchathink?

Re: An extraordinary player!
I wouldn't know where to start to do that, and the thought of playing to a sequenced - and complicated - A/V backing such as his makes me squirm in abject terror!!
He's very good, I have to say and that guitar is a cracker - great sound!!

Re: An extraordinary player!
Funny you posted this.
My friend that gave me his old Dynasty the other day was talking about his pursuit of being a one man band. However, instead of any recorded stuff, he is actually building equipment to be able to play the drums with his feet all Def Leopard style and the base somehow with fingers while playing his guitar and/or keyboards. All of this while singing and playing harmonica!
I can barely chew gum while I play... LOL

No kidding eh?corsair wrote:I wouldn't know where to start to do that...
It's one thing to use a vocal effect to induce some harmonies, nice enough, but this...this is just mind blowing.
As you say trying to synchronize everything he's doing would give me the shakes.
It would be impressive enough to do it in yer basement studio.
But to do it live? In front of an audience (drunk or not)?! Wow.

Hes definitely one talented dude
Always loved the cow bell in that song - Where would you even buy one nowadays - I guess you could use a politicians head, I imagine it would make a similar hollow sound

I pinched mine from my drummer nephew, and a drumstick to belt it with!! OK... he gave it to me 'cause it was cracked.... but it's good now; I soldered the cracks up!!
