Unfortunately, too many over here associate Matsumoko products with "Oh, goody! I can get rich quick" .  Prices have pretty much gotten out of hand.

A few of us have been around the Westone/Matsumoku guitars long enough to witness periodic upturns in popularity. As each new group of people discover the Mats quality and playability there is the accompanying increase in demand...and price!

Looks like we may be experiencing another wave. Good if you already have your Westies, not so much if you're trying to buy your Westies.
