Very nice Phil. These are terrific guitars.
But I think you'll find that yours is more likely a 1979 than 1980.

I have the 1980 VS-600 which was the year they made some changes from your model (including reversing the model designation).

Mine was a bit of rescue baby, but now she's a beauty and ready to rock with the best of them.
