SOLD - Westone X350 (passive)

Hello there !

This is not an easy thing to do but I had bass lessons today and for the first time me and my teacher switched instruments and I fell in love with his white Fender precision bass.

Now I do have money on my bank account but also two guitars of which I only play one.

I recently asked for the value of this guitar but trust me, at that time I had no intention of selling it.

So without further ado I would like to let you guys know that I am willing to sell my Westone X350 (passive version)

I am not too sure about the price but I have a rough number in my mind which is sold incl. shipping within the European Union

The original case is of course included in this offering.

I accept payment by PayPal but only if you take the fees. I am also ok with a bank transfer. Or, if you can, just come by and pick it up in Munich/Germany and pay cash.

Hey, I think 40 GBP to 50 gbp on top would do it.

But I have no idea if there would be any problems with CITES and how customs handle shipping of a guitar to the USA now.

Oooh.... it would have to be packed SO well, even in it's hard case, eh! That set neck being sent from Europe to the US would make me very nervous.... 

Still... worth the chance, I reckon! You deserve this one, Steve, and I think you should have it!

Packing shouldn't be an issue as I will pack it very safe and sturdy no matter where it will go to.

CITES is a bit of a minefield I gather.

If you get it wrong, they sieze the item, and you don't get the option to pay fine and get it back. It just gets destroyed...

Well, I already have one that gets played little enough as it is that in all honesty I suppose it is little more than a pipe dream to have asked in the first place.  

But, seeing as how my wife does not have one I thought I might at least give it the ol' college try.

I do certainly understand the reluctance however in agreeing to send it over.  I cannot see any reason why CITES should pose a problem as there really isn't any sort of prohibited or protected wood involved in the original build on that model... unless they now have included the ebony that fingerboard is constructed from to the list.
