Westone Thunder II
Hi all, I have just found this Forum. I have a Left handed Westone Thunder II (1981 or '82) in Savannah Yellow, which has an XLR connector. How rare is it?? I am asking only for interest, as have no intention of selling. It is immaculate, except for losing two of the knobs.
Thanks for your replies (hopefully) in advance.

Re: Westone Thunder II
Hello argid and welcome.
Some pictures would be helpful in identifying exactly what you have. (There is a 7 day waiting period for new members before they can post pictures or hyperlinks.)
If you are certain of the model and year then it would seem highly unlikely that you have an original finish, the Thunder line did not have a yellow option at any time in its history that I know of.
Have a look at our web site and see if you can identify your model a bit more accurately. LINK
If you can confirm it then perhaps you have something unique after all.

Re: Westone Thunder II
Ah, so it's not a guitar, that makes a difference!
Yes, there was indeed a Savanna Yellow model. See the catalogue HERE
"Yellow" is a bit misleading though, it's more of a translucent finish with a vintage yellowish tint. So, to answer your original question, it's a nice machine but not rare or unusual.
