Rainbow 1 case

Hi All

I have just acquired a great Rainbow 1 and need to get a case for it.

Will a case that fits a Gibson ES 335 fit well or are others a better choice?

i bought a case online  from Barry Clark Music (Tomah, Wisconsin, United States) and it works very well for my Rainbow 2.
there is just a little bit of slide in the case (only an inch or so) because the "ears" seem to be just a little shorter than on the gibson guitar, but there is plenty of soft padding and the headstock does not hit the top of the case when it  moves, so i'm happy with the fit.

Yes, a case for a 335 will be your best fit. It's unlikely you'll find an original one for a Rainbow; I did but I had to pay more than I wanted and it's in a bit of a state. I also have a case just like the one in the pics above, made by TKL. It's very solid, but weighs more than the guitar - 11 kilos!
