SLM guitar shop decal?

I have a monark with a SLM guitar shop decal

SLM stand for St Louis music ? It has a signature and a date or serial number on it. 5-86 , June 1986 ?

Could this mean the guitar was order to this store and tuned up, maybe sold then?

I'm gunna look under the nick for a serial number,Havnt found one any where else

Does anybody else have a similar case or idea what this could be or......

Most likely a white sticker with Rene Lopez Signature. This was the final inspection done in St Louis before it was Shipped out to the music store. The Monark was only manufactured and sold for one year.

The signature looks like 6.t. The six is probly a G:)

I would post a pic but I have wait a week. There's this ugly yellow ish see through tape over the wiring cover and sticker? The signature is a match. I'm enveouse of your white monark that's the best color on one if you asked me, but they all feel the same hehe

Is there a serial number on a Monark? I've found a sequence of numbers under the neck pickup what are these? My dynasty has them too!

there does not seem to be serial numbers on the monark guitars

i do not know of any authoritative information about how to translate the markings inside the pickup cavities, neck pockets, or on the necks of any Westone model. 

the primary info available is about the numbers on the neckplates or the rear of the headstock on Matsumoku made instruments

I cannot identify those initials.  It's no one here...

I'd like to find a Monark and paint it pink.

Nothing definitive but the best guess is that they are production related references, likely specifying the finish colour and/or neck assembly, that sort of thing.

Chad! bro-ny? I hope you keep your pink monark in the closet:) along with the spandex n leggings. I've read people askin about production numbers, and I'm wundering if there's any info on this for any model of Westone? If so where could a guy come cross this
